| 1 | A. | | Report | I, Mayor Ed Mitchell, pursuant to and in accordance with the authority vested in me by Tennessee Code Annotated § 5-5-105, hereby call a special meeting of the Board of County Commissioners of Blount County, Tennessee (the “County”), for the following purposes: (i) to consider an initial resolution authorizing the issuance of hospital revenue bonds of the County to finance improvements to Blount Memorial Hospital and (ii) to consider a resolution authorizing the issuance of hospital revenue bonds to (a) refinance the County’s General Obligation Refunding Bonds, Series 2013A, which refinanced certain outstanding debt of the County relating to Blount Memorial Hospital, (b) finance a termination payment relating to an interest rate swap agreement relating to such refunding bonds, and (c) finance improvements to Blount Memorial Hospital. | | |
